Hello Everyone!

I'm new to 3FC. I've been having some motivation/self-esteem issues that I haven't dealt with before, so I thought it'd be good to join a community like this. I'm looking forward to learning from all of you
Here's my story so far:
From my heaviest to my lightest at the moment, I've lost about 40lbs. I weighed in the 180s through most of college, then got up to approx 192ish (I'm guessing I still weighed this in early 2009 shortly before graduating). I made some small changes at first like adding walks and making a few better food choices. I reached a low of 168 in Sept/Oct 2009 and stayed there till June 2010...LONG PLATEAU!

haha. I kept walking and eating well during this plateau or whatever, buying some of my own groceries rather than eating what the rest of the family bought (my problem before)...taking it slow.
Then in April/May 2010 I decided to take it a step further and put more effort into my weight loss. I barely realized then that WOW I've lost about 20lbs already! So here's what changed after that: Walking in Shape-ups 2x a day for 30-60min each, adding weight to my handweights (which I carried on my walks), buying almost all my own groceries, weighing myself weekly. In late June I was still 168, but I got down to 149 in late Sept/early Oct. I'm now between 149.0 and 153.5 at any given time. I got a gym membership I believe in late August, so that also helped. For a while I was going 1-2x per day, 6-7 days in the week. In September I actually added some weight training which I had done very little of before...I think this really helped and I can feel a difference in my strength which is awesome.
I haven't lost any weight or inches in a while (my eating has been pretty bad lately), so I think it's time to step it up again. Maybe I was going to the gym too much, but either way I need to get back on track before I lose what I gained (or maybe I should say, gain what I lost).
Gee...maybe I should stop typing before I ramble too much hahaha.
