Default 29lbs to go...

Hi everyone,
I was always careful with what i eat and how much I eat until I met my dear boyfriend couple of years ago. With him, my desire for bad food got unleashed and I ended up gaining 25Lbs! So, I want to loose this 25 Lbs (actually I want to loose 32lbs) but more than that, I want to go back to healty stuff again. I started doing Weight Watchers last week and already lost 3lbs. I may start a blog to share my progress..

Hello laperla, I joined Weight Watchers about 5 months ago and am down 40 pounds so far with about 25 to go. I love the meetings and have found out a few things that work for me. I always go to the meeting even when I know I have gained. Just knowing that I have to weigh in helps me stay on the straight and narrow. The other thing that is helping me is that I am exercising on a treadmill. Only walking, at nearly 60 I think running might be too much for these old joints. When I started I could not even walk 1/2 mile and am now up to 5 miles a day (75 minutes) 5 days a week. The other thing that helped me is a bargain with myself. If I go over my points I make myself walk an extra day. Most times what ever I want to eat is not really worth it, sometimes I do give in and "pay" the extra day of treadmill. I have an ipod shuffle and headphones and it helps me to cover the readings on the treadmill and just count songs. Takes from 22-25 songs to finish the time. You can do it ! Remember you can do anything you set your mind to do

Thank you. I am trying to come up with a gym routine. It is much easier and faster to lose weight that way.
