Allowed myself something, now I'm second-guessing myself.
I eat by calories and by the clock. Today for breakfast I had leftover salad with chicken breast in it, a glass of milk, and I dipped my fork into some dressing. That totaled to about 500 calories, but since I was just dipping my fork, and since I didn't eat a whole chicken breast, the calories are a little off (I always forget I can manually enter the calories eaten). All in all that was probably more like a 250-300 calorie meal, if that.
Then for lunch I had a hotdog minus the bun, with mustard, and some homegrown sweet corn. Now I know I've said in previous posts I'm trying to go low-carb, but I've been WAY too low the last two days and it's messed with my blood sugar, so I said what the **** and had 1/2 cup of sweet corn with my snack. That should have been my lunch, but when I exercise Livestrong gives me extra calories so I said, "what the ****, I can have one more little meal before dinner."
At this point I'm at roughly 784-834 calories.
A few hours later I had my official lunch, which was a microwave meal. I'm not proud of it, but I did it. It was 310 calories.
So now livestong tells me I've eaten 1034 calories today. I'm supposed to be aiming for 1236 a day (to lose 2lb per week. This is only temporary.) Now Livestrong gives me about 200 extra calories, so I have 400-something left for the evening, but in my eyes, I really only have 200.
Do I bite the bullet and eat 300-400 calories for dinner, or do I eat my 200? OR, do I eat my 300-400 and just go exercise for 15-20 extra minutes? This probably isn't a huge deal, and it probably doesn't deserve a thread, but I worked my butt off to get to 171.6, and I can't believe I jeprodised it in one day!
I do not consider this a binge, it's nowhere close. I didn't eat blindly, I was very clear-minded when I made my decisions. I just mad bad decisions. I've had high days before, so I should PROBABLY just forget about it...
You're doing fine. What you do is totally up to you. Any of those things aren't going to cause you big problems down the road. If it were me, I would have a light dinner and my regular workout. But that's just me! Do what you want. You're not going to undo all your hard work. again!
LOL. Its ok, I do the same thing. But the truth of the matter is, even if you DID eat the whole chocolate cake you would not undo EVERYTHING with one cake.
You thought it through, you weight the pros and cons (so to speak) and you ate what you ate. No sense stressing about it, because that will cause weight to stick! (at least for me)
So, it is what it is, move on and make better (or different) choices tomorrow.
Your journey isn't about one day, but the culmination of days and it is also a learning process. I would eat the 200, wait a bit and see how I feel. If you're still hungry eat something else and if you feel like you need to exercise then do 15-20 min.
If you're afraid you're "lacking" carbs, take heart. Every vegetable, every fruit, every slice of cheese, every cup of yogurt or spoon of sour cream, heck, even that hot dog you ate had carbs in it.
You want to be low in processed/white carbs (white flour, sugar, baked goods, grits, potatoes/rice/pasta, bananas, etc.) those things have very little bang for their caloric buck, empty calories so to speak.
Vegetable carbs, and some fruit carbs (melon, berries, etc.) are low in SUGAR but high in FIBER which fills you up, for little cals, and sticks around a lot longer to keep you from feeling hungry 30 minutes after you eat them.

Back to your regularly scheduled thread. . .
Well, like today for example, livestrong says I've only had 80g carbs. It's telling me I should be shooting for 185g. So I do eat my veggies and cheeses, and there's carbs in milk too. I'm just worried I'm not getting Enough because I'm VERY picky, I HATE fruit lol.

I eat low carb. I would be doing the happy dance if I was eating LESS sugar than the average american does.
Why are you scared to be low in sugar? Use your veggies and dairy to make up your carbs, but don't feel like you're endangering yourself if you eat less than 185 grams of carbs per day. I try to eat 100 or so myself. . .
Keep in perspective that it takes roughly 3500 calories to make a pound of fat. So worrying about 200 calories means that you're worrying over one ounce. Are you upset by the idea that if you choose the extra 200 calories that it means you're going to lose 1 ounce less this week than you would have, if you don't eat them.
What would you really jeopardize with the decision to eat the extra 200 calories? One ounce! (Only a half ounce if you choose 300 calories instead of 200). Does that ounce or half-ounce or less really jeopardize anything? Are you willing to throw away your weight loss plan over an ounce or less?
Of course, in the scheme of things every ounce counts for something, but that doesn't mean it counts for everything, or it counts enough to worry or obsess over. Make the choice and by happy with it.
This isn't a race where losing as fast as you can is the only valid path. Incorporating weight loss strategies into a normal, balanced life is generally the more effective strategy. If you drive yourself nuts, it's eventually going to seem like more trouble than it's worth and you'll want to give up. Make your choice and be ok with it, so you can move on without driving yourself insane.

Sometimes I only get 40g. Most days I'm in between 40 and 50, 80 if I try. That's too low, I can physically feel it. I feel like my blood sugar is low all the time. So I need to boost my carb intake. I don't really care about my sugar intake, it's fine.
