Good morning to everyone !!

Hope everyone had a happy and safe weekend !

Welcome to all the new people. I wish you all the best as you start out on this journey. I'm starting week 13 today and I have been reflecting on how much I've learned about myself in these short weeks. I've embraced this and have been digging deep in other areas as well ! You can do this !

I have a question for anyone who may have a milk allergy. Are you able to do IP? Are there any packs that are 'safe'? I will be starting out as a coach within the next few weeks and I haven't gotten my info yet or been trained but I have someone who wants to start who is allergic to milk. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Have a great day everyone !
Cheers from Manitoba !

So those struggling with the big "C", if your coach allows black soy beans, I highly recommend a 1/2 cup serving if you can afford the carb count. I wouldn't go all willy nilly with them and eat them every day but the extra 7g of fiber really helped me this past weekend.

Weighed in this morning.... -4.8!! Haven't had a week like that for a while!! I cut out the 3 restricteds I was allowing myself last week and it was worth it! No more restricteds for me!! Past the halfway point! Can't wait for Brandon to come home on Saturday to see me 37.6 pounds lighter!! This week is AWESOME!

I have another busy week of classes with finals this week but I'm looking forward to just being a full time student next week. When I have more time, I may actually start recording my food in spark people and see what my nutrition numbers really are.

I have a question that I thought I remember seeing an answer to in my material someplace but I can't find it now. I understand that I can swap meals, but can I split them up as long as I keep my carb count low? Sometimes, depending on if I'm going out and timing of my last two meals I'm not really hungry at one or in between I will need something. Is it okay to just eat my veggies and then, have my protein packet later or should I always be connecting those two? I've had good weight loss to this point but I don't want to establish bad habits that will slow me down in the future.

Oh yeah, and I got my order from Nashua Nutrition this morning... Trying their Proti-diet kiwi-melon juice... 2 carbs, 0 fat, 0 sugar, 70 calories and 15 g protein... it is a liquid you pour in your water, not a powder... All I can say is JOLLY RANCHER! MMMM!

Default Disney on IP

A couple of people have now asked me for tips to survive a Disney trip, so I will prepare something and post in the travel sticky.

Does the travel sticky already exist? Are you fixing to start one? I am new to this forum and I have a lot to learn about computers. I thought thread was an item used to connect 2 pieces of fabric, what did I know. Lol ! Thanks for the kind words concerning my last post.

Good Morning Everyone!! I have been reading these posts for a month and a half now and feel like I know some of you even though my first post was yesterday. Today is Monday and start of a new week, although I weigh on Thursday so for me it feels like the middle. I had a weekend where I had to be tough as another wedding and my daughter and I made yummy cookies yesterday to send to her boyfriend. I did not cheat, I thought about it but you know I just don't want to. I love how I am starting to look and I feel so good. I have never felt this good, I think IP is simply amazing!!

Congrats to everyone that had a good weigh in today !! Yeah!!

Oh ShrinkingSusie your Brandon is going to have his eyes popping out of his head when he see's you. Our bodies changes are so great on IP, enjoy his enjoyment! My coach has been great, her advice to me is basically don't add the restricted stuff when really wanting to lose the most you can on IP. I am on week 7 almost 8 and I haven't added any. I am kinda afraid too, as my body is doing so good on Phase 1 with no restricted items.

Thanks!! I'm so worried he's not going to notice, but I think it's because I see myself everyday so I don't notice the changes as much. He hasn't seen me for over 3 months! I was like maybe I should bring my before pictures just incase! But my sister keeps assuring me "TRUST ME! He will notice!" Almost down 4 bags of potatoes.. lol! Then when he goes back, it will be another three months before I see him again, so I will hopefully be at my goal then, so another suprise!

Good morning! Went for weigh in #6 this morning, down 1.2 pounds only but 3 more inches! So in 6 weeks I have lost 16.4 pounds and 22.5 inches..my 'coach' measures me weekly at my insistance, around the areas of my: bust/upper waist/belly button/hips/right upper arm above elbow/left upper arm above elbow/right thigh above knee/left thigh above knee.
If I was going by pounds I would get very discoraged, but seeing the inches melt away and "charting" them.. keeps me going!!!

I KNOW I will see a HUGE difference in my body by the end of this year, and that's so exciting for me.. so hang in there with me all of you who may get discouraged at the slow weekly pound loss! ( and remind me too)

As I mentioned once before awhile back, I found out Pope John XXIII (who also had a weight problem) is the Patron Saint of weight loss, so I am asking him to please intercede to Jesus with us, for All of us...
Sending positive weight loss Blessings to you all!

Marionm: I have waited to have my shake/pudding a couple of hours after eating my salad and veggies and it hasn't done anything to my weight lose...so as long as you don't really mix things up i think it is OK.

Happy Monday everyone! We are back from the beach and it's been raining here now for 2 days! Me and the dog miss haven't walked now in 2 days

Meandmax and Shrinkingsusie congratualtions on your losses this week!! Keep up the good work! I had my week 4 weigh in and lost 5.4 for a total of 28.2 lbs in 4 short weeks...i still can't believe it!

On another note, just wanted to share that last night, i grilled 2 wedges of iceberg lettuce and dressed them with WF ranch. It was very good and it felt very gourmet!!
