Hi....My name is Karin and I just joined this forum. I joined so I could get advice and support for my weight loss program. I am on 200mg of Zoloft a day and I think it might be contributing to my weight gain. If anyone has any suggestions or experiences with this I would be happy for some advice. Also does anyone know any appetite suppressants that can be taken with Zoloft w/o interactions or side effects?
Hello and welcome to the site. I personally have not had any experience w/ Zoloft, so I'm afraid I'm no help to you there. Hopefully there are others here who have that can steer you in the right direction. Have you tried Wellbutrin? My doctor initially gave it to me to help w/ cravings but it's also an anti-depressant. It might be worth looking into for you.

Hi Karin. I take Lexapro and it has some weight gain side effects too. I have read that Zoloft does. Just make sure that if you take some kind of appetite suppressant it is okay. I would ask your Dr. to be safe. I don't mess with any of those because of my medication. One person can be different from the next. You don't know how it will affect you until you try it. Good luck with your weight loss journey!
