Default I am sooo sore today!!

A guy my husband works with is really big into working out and make up a weight lifting program for us. My hubby and I both did it on Monday evening. It was tough but I got through it! Yesterday I woke up sore but not to bad but today...I am SORE! I'm dreading working out tonight!!!! I just hope I can get a good workout in..

Take some vitamin C to help for the soreness. You are experiencing DOMS - delayed onset muscle soreness from the lactic acid build up in your muscles.

For me, Vitamin C and potassium help. Also, drinking plenty of water and light cardio and lots of stretching. Day 2 and 3 used to be the worst for me, but once I learned the Vit C/Pot trick and just pushed thru with light cardio for those sore days it really helped.

Also, remember, once your body adjusts to the workouts, the DOMS goes away. You will probably exerience it for the first couple weeks of a new routine, or after an extended break, or a major change in routine. (heavier weights, or a total change up with new movements)
