I took a water pill this morning.
I am going to start doing an additional mile
I am going to drink more water

Did you go through this? Is this normal after losing almost 65lbs?
I wanna cry!!! scream and pull my hair out. I am staying on plan, so I am not sure what the problem is

I can't imagine you are doing anything wrong per se. I wouldn't think this was "normal" after losing 65 pounds. I'm not sure what to tell you since I'm sure you already know all the stand-by answers (water weight, muscle repair weight, bowels, etc.) Are you feeling constipated lately? That would be my best guess and if that's the case, you should of course consume more fiber.

Is it time to change things up? Maybe try zig zagging calories?

I don't know, but what great perseverance you have!! And such patience! I know it's frustrating, but this too shall pass, as they say. Just keep working the plan and it WILL work for you, just as it already has.

Maybe change the battery in you scale?

Water retention happens. There isn't necessarily an obvious cause. I wouldn't worry about it after only 2 days. I ate at the cheesecake factory last night. Bet'cha I'll be retaining water for the rest of the week.

I don't think you are eating enough. But then, I never think anyone on this board eats enough.

Maybe try some different exercise? It's important to vary exercise, to prevent boredom and adaptation. Walking is great, I do it tons, but only walking would probably drive me nuts after a while. Maybe try a more intense DVD (it doesn't have to be turbojam, just some light aerobics), or try going outside to walk where the terrain varies more than the floor in front of the TV, with hills or unpaved road. I haven't seen the WATP dvds, but I imagine that walking in place is less functionally effective than actually walking to a destination and back.

What cycle day are you? Could it be PMS bloat?

How's your sodium been? Could it be bloat from that?

How's the bathroom habits? Could it be from that?

Are you drinking enough water? Sometimes we hang on to water because we are dehydrated.

Try not to panic. It's only been 2 days so it is very unlikely to be fat tissue. You'd have to eat 7000 over your calories needs to put that on and you aren't doing that.

GL!

The only things I can think of that haven't been mentioned are 1). My body looses a few pounds then maintains for a few weeks then looses so maybe this is a what you are experiencing; and 2) how low of a carb and fat are you doing? If your carbs are low your body uses fat as fuel. If you aren't supplying enough fat it could be causing trouble. Just my two cents. Sorry you are frustrated.

Leslie Sansone walk DVD's are multi-muscle walks. You go side steps, kick-backs, knee lifts, jog, walk, all kinds of different moves. It has done well so far, guess I need to change DVD's maybe my body is use to em. Thanks so much I will look for the other workouts you mentioned

I eat around 10-15 grams of fat a day depending on the meals but usually 10
Thanks

From a general health perspective, you may want to eat more fat. It is important for satiety, fat-soluble nutrient absorption, hormone regulation, etc. It is good to eat about 20-30% of your daily calories as fat. If you wish to continue with about 1200 a day, 20% of that is 240 calories, or~27grams of fat.

When I first started my weight loss, I inadvertently cut most fat out of my diet. I was getting some from the meats I ate, and the little bit that comes in soy milk and cereal, but mostly I was getting it from eating out, and nutbutter binges. I would buy a jar of peanut butter and literally eat them in 3 days, with no ill effects on my weight loss but dramatic improvements in mood. I simply wasn't eating enough of it. Eating more fat in my diet REALLY helped. I had been getting so frustrated, and things picked up again for a while, until I got close to where I am now and EVERYTING is hard.

If you look back a couple weeks, you'll see my post to my $##$^%^ scale. I seem to gain a couple pounds before I drop. I don't know why. It's like my body has to gear up for the giant effort or something.
I love Walk Away the Pounds, but I'd suggest any of the Crunch videos (which are dance-y) or even a Tae-Bo one. If you have Netflix or On-Demand, you can check them out that way.

Terre---

I go through this from time to time and I really HATE IT every single time.

I can't find a cause for it in myself except that stress and long work days or car rides make it worse....

I thought it was from taking advil, or salt, or eating too many fibrous vegetables, but I've finally decided I have no idea.

Here's my advice. Just wait it out. Don't change anything. In my most recent stuck episode I gained a pound a day for four straight days, and then carried around a four pound gain for almost two weeks. But, then those 4 pounds whooshed back off and I started dropping again.

Think of it as practice maintenance. Accept the fact that there are time when your body will hold water weight for no apparent reason and be confident that you will not gain fat if you stay on plan!

I think the WATP videos are great exercise! I have lost a good bit of weight using them since January. Anything that gets your HR to your target zone aerobically is good exercise.

I really don't have too much advice...just keep going and stick with it. I hope you acheive your goals.

I have a body bugg and I do the walking DVDs as well as normal walking - I can tell you this, the DVDs do burn just as many calories as about a 3 - 3.5 mph walk. At just a couple days it could be anything, I wouldn't worry much yet. I do agree that you should maybe try increasing your fat intake - nut butters and dark chocolate are yummy ways to do that in a healthy way. Hang in there.

When I eat salty foods, especially ham, my scale is also up 3 pounds. Day after it is down again (assuming I'm on program.) Like clockwork for certain things. There's no way you ate 3500 x 4 calories in two days, so it's not real gain.
