Hello Everyone!!!
I have tired several diets over the last six months and have failed everytime. I am hoping to get some support to help me with my weight loss. My goal is 130. I am open to suggestions.

Welcome!
You're in the right place when it comes to support. The women on here are amazing!
My little bit of advice would be to think of it as a lifestyle change, and not a diet. Choose a plan you can live with, and take baby steps. Small changes, a little at a time at first. That way (if you're stubborn like me) you won't get overwhelmed immediately and lose motivation.
It just takes time. You'll find your groove.

Welcome Melissa, Since Chicks can be overwhelming at first, I suggest you look for a support group or challenge to join, a small group of friends to help keep you motivated. Find one you like that fits your needs, and just post to join.

MosesMom makes a good point, sometimes small changes can have a bigger impact that we think, and can lead to bigger changes, and replacing thoughts of 'short term diet' with 'lifestyle change' can eliminate re-gaining once you meet your goal. {been there, done that!}. I"ve been trying to lose weight for almost a year now, but it took me a while to find what works for me. Different people lose differently, so give yourself time to try different methods.
