New from Colorado
Hello Everyone!!!
I have tired several diets over the last six months and have failed everytime. I am hoping to get some support to help me with my weight loss. My goal is 130. I am open to suggestions. Melissa |

You're in the right place when it comes to support. The women on here are amazing! My little bit of advice would be to think of it as a lifestyle change, and not a diet. Choose a plan you can live with, and take baby steps. Small changes, a little at a time at first. That way (if you're stubborn like me) you won't get overwhelmed immediately and lose motivation. It just takes time. You'll find your groove. ;) |
Welcome Melissa, Since Chicks can be overwhelming at first, I suggest you look for a support group or challenge to join, a small group of friends to help keep you motivated. Find one you like that fits your needs, and just post to join.
MosesMom makes a good point, sometimes small changes can have a bigger impact that we think, and can lead to bigger changes, and replacing thoughts of 'short term diet' with 'lifestyle change' can eliminate re-gaining once you meet your goal. {been there, done that!}. I"ve been trying to lose weight for almost a year now, but it took me a while to find what works for me. Different people lose differently, so give yourself time to try different methods. |
