Thanks Rosebud. That's really nice of you to take the time to welcome me. I'm doing really well and feel very positive about things this time. Just about to go out for a nice long walk. I see from your profile that you're getting on very well too. Well done!
Thanks again for your lovely words of support.

Hi Maisie, I am doing Dukan as well!! I started on April 18, and I am on PP for the next few days. I was thinking of starting a Dukan Recipe thread. So many of the recipies that i learned were in french but I've got down the basics now.
oh! and so far I've lost 11 pounds. Thats not a shocking amount but I am hoping its sustainable this time!

Hi there chouchoubu
You're doing well and 11lbs sounds not too far off 1 stone to me!
Have lost 5lbs on my 6 days of attack. Think it's always more difficult for us women as we have our natural fluctuations to consider as well. Usually when I diet I am always jumping on the scales, hoping to consistently lose each day. This time I'm going to try not to do that and relax about things.
Recipe thread sounds a great idea. I'll be sure to contribute once I get into the swing of things and would love to see some of your ideas.
One thing I've noticed about this diet though is that my brain seems to be going to mush! (more than usual). Hoping that will change soon as I add in some well deserved veggies tomorrow. I'm going to do the 1/1 alternate day thing. Think I'll have a nice grilled tomato and poached egg tomorrow for starters!
WE CAN DO IT!

Maisie

Congrats!

Your post made me Google the Dukan diet, and it looks interesting and like something I'd want to try. Actually, the attack phase it basically what I've been doing lately anyway (eggs and lean meat), so now I may as well gather as much info as I can about the diet's next phase.

gooo maisie!! I'm weighing in tomorrow morning. Idk if the scale has moved but I know I'm trying to stick to it!!

I too get totally woosy some days. the day before I swiched over to PL i felt really out of it. and really cold, I took some iron, and vitamin c, calcium and felt a lot better the next day. I'm rockin on PL until Monday. GREENS!! YES!!

on protien diets you do have to remember that you are a WOMAN. Many of the diets don't really consider that factor into it. But your body tells you a lot of things, if you listen.

Just wondering if you are still going strong with this Chouchoubou and how much you have lost as I was thinking about starting the Dukan Diet

Hello everyone!!

I am doing the dukan too and calling it "can do" . Today I finished my second day of the diet and so far going really well. I want to lose 25kg (55pound?) and so need to do the attack phase for 10 days as per book. I am trying to also keep a track of calories, even though the book said not to worry about it. My aim is to be at my goal weight by 16 November.

Its great to have this support and even better to have fellow dukans around

Elkay - well.. I am still a little over 2 lbs away from being out of the 170's....I fell off the wagon last weekend and paid dearly in a pound and a half!! I'm back on track this week, still determined to get to 150!

Hi Mascara- Welcome! today I'm 78.2 kilos...68 is my magic number!! Wishing us all success!
