I've been lurking for a while and I think these forums are great so i've finally joined. I started losing weight about a month ago and lost about 16lbs but i've put some on again now as I started eatting badly again (too much chocolate!!!) so anyway after that little blip I want to continue losing and thought joining may help. I am also terrible with exercise so I would like to increase my fitness abit too but I find this part seriously hard. I've always been abit over weight really since it was 11/12 and it's just increased really gradually, so I really want to crack this now before I start university after the summer.
I'm at 184 right now and want to get to about 125 so I have about 60lbs to lose! It's quite hard as my mum does the shopping and normally gets 'bad' things in etc and i'm addicted to chocolate and I don't like many vegetables so I suppose they are things I need to work on. I'm going to do it by calorie counting, about 1200-1400 calories a day seems to be okay if I pick good choices.
So yeah, I just wanted to say hi and good luck to everyone on their weight loss journeys!
Hey Rainbow! I'm kind of similar -- I was always a little chubby, but I gained a whole lot after October 2007, so I'm working on getting all that off in time for school next September I'm a sweets person, too, so I eat either frozen yogurt or WW ice cream cups. Welcome aboard!
