Hi Kris, sounds like you've got the right frame of mind this time. Keep in mind that a healthy weight loss is about 2 lbs. per week, and that should be doable for most folks.
As you begin to shed pounds, you will feel better about yourself and that should motivate you to continue.
Dieting is good, but I didn't see that you had mentioned exercise. As you probably know, exercise is an essential part of any weight loss plan, and it can be fun too

Perhaps you could find time to walk about 30 mins. per day, join a gym, and/or join an exercise class. If finances or location are a problem then don't be discouraged - there are many very good & effective exercises which you can do at home for free. If possible, I recommend a class because participating as part of a group helps to keep you focused.
