You CAN do this.
In January I couldn't do even one real sit-up. Now, I can do 20. I can do 20 push ups. I could hardly do squats, now I can do 100. And, I've lost over 20 pounds in less than a year. I'm 64 years old. I don't have children to look after, but it's about focus. FOCUS on your health. If you have to put the children first, think of your health as primarily important for them. Don't talk to your mom about it, come to these boards. You'll find great help here.
Take your time, aim for one pound a week. Use these boards, and check out weight loss on the Mayo Clinic website.
