Default Hi

I just recently joined the forum.

I have been doing MRC since the first of the year. I am doing okay, but not going to reach my goal of 50 pounds by my daughter's wedding in May.

I am hoping for some support and additional tips to help me make it!

Nice to meet you!

Laurie

I have also recently joined 3fc. to the weight you have lost thus far. You must be excited about your daughter getting married! I can understand why you would want to look your best in pictures that will be an important part of the family's memories forever. I tried to start Dr. Ian Smith's 4 day diet, but I found myself to be very hungry and binging at night. Last week, I started not really calorie counting but fat gram counting. I guess that kind of goes along with calorie counting because most things low in fat are lower in calories. I do cheat a bit on Friday and Saturday, and I have lost 9 pounds! I am going to South Beach, Miami in 2 weeks, and now I wish I would have started sooner! I hope you find a lifestyle (notice how I didn't say diet) that works for you!

Hey! We are practically neighbors!

I too am a serial dieter. Tried them all! I did lose weight rather sucessfully on WW, but then was diagnosed with RA and put on long term predisone. Thus I gained all my weight back plus some penalty pounds! I am now just below where I was when I started WW the last time. I knew WW would help me lose weight, just not fast enough for my goals!

Anyway, thanks for the welcome!
