Default Did you workout today?

I'm about to slap in a DVD and bang out my workout. Not esp enthused about it with child underfoot since she's home from school, but hey... it is what it is today. I'll back in when I'm done.

Anyone else working out today? What was it?

A.

Yes. I did a pilates tape.

Sometimes I spend more time dreading exercise than just getting up and doing it. My waistline has increased and I believe exercise will help.

Hope by the time you read this, you are done with your exercise and feeling calmer and more energetic.

I did the elliptical this morning and went for one of my walks already. I have another walk planned for today and then a run around my neighborhood after I get off work.

I'm back , workout done.

I feel good, but I don't know about calmer. Afternoons are NOT my best time. Child has a lot of energy after school that she keeps under control in the classroom but by the time she gets home its like she's going to pop from holding it in all day. I understand that, but it doesn't make it any easier on the ears! LOL.

Week 4 Day 2 of C25K - 2.25 miles intervals...woohoo! Came back to the office all sweaty because I don't have quite enough time to shower and make it back in an hour (I actually take a 1 hour 15 min lunch break cause I figure I don't take any smoke breaks like the others).

Did 20 min HIIT on the treadmill, and then 20 minutes on the stationary bike.

I had not worked out all week, it felt great to get back on track! No More Excuses!

Despite having to get up at the buttcrack of dawn for work (after usually working night shifts and having righteous insomnia, so I'm very tired), I left work about 45 minutes early and immediately went for an hour-long walk. It was nice to take advantage of the extremely nice weather we've been having lately, after once-in-a-century record-breaking snowstorms and lots of rain.

Yes, as Saturday is a busy day at my gym for classes. I could take three in a row if I wanted, but I take two: 45 minutes of circuit training, where we go around to 18 stations doing cardio & weights, and then a 45-minute Pilates class right afterward. And afterward I showered & dressed & went into the city to see a play & was walking around the East Village & then in the heart of the Village for probably a good hour.

I worked out some today. I did stretches, some punches, some ab exercises, and lots of strength exercises with weights. I did two sets of everything so it was about a 45 minute work out.
