So I've found myself modifying my eating habits. (Again!

) This is a big adjustment again so I thought I would reach out for some online support and do some supporting myself! As well, I find myself wanting to talk about issues related to diet modification far more than my friends and family would like to hear!
I'll let you know a few things about myself. I've been overweight since puberty hit. It is hard being overweight in high school especially back when it wasn't as common! I've been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and this has probably contributed to my struggle against extra weight.
The slimmest I have been as an adult was around 160-ish pounds at a size 14. I've mostly gravitated around size 18 and 20 for the past 20 years. Before I started with diet modification I was creeping up to a size 22. While I've always been told I carry my weight well I was starting to see that shape disappear!
I work full time, take a couple of classes a semester, and until recently I had a part-time unpaid job as a game admin that was a real time sink! All this stress and activity has given me an excuse to eat, eat, eat. I gained 15 pounds this past year (10 of which I had lost the fall before.)
I'm back on track again though and have lost 9 pounds already!

I don't have a lot of time for exercise so I am just trying diet modification of around a 1200 calorie a day diet. I'm mostly keeping away from fat (most specifically saturated) and sugars. I'm trying to eat foods higher in fiber and nutrients, but lower calorie.
I found this community a while back when I was researching something food/diet related. I better stop my rambling for now. I look forward to getting to know all of you!
