Default Protein

What are some of your favorite sources of protein used in the liquid phase of your recovery?

I am picky when it comes to them as milk or milk like products have never appealed to me. Plan on testing some out and wondered if there were any strong favorites or suggestions.

I tried many different kinds but the only brand I've found that is okay for day after day is Nectar. I like Fuzzy Navel best and the chocolate is okay.

I LOVE muscle milk protein plus. I mix it with vanilla silk brand soy milk..throw some ice cubes in my magic bullet and it tastes like vanilla ice cream...now I'v started adding a banana and plenty of cinnamon and its soooo delicious! It doesn't have that chalky protein-y taste at all. I know its dairy-ish but I use the vanilla soy so it doesn't have dairy just wanted to share because I love it so much

We actually tried the muscle milk, no sugar added that was vanilla flavored this morning. Added some splenda mocha flavoring and some ice. It tasted pretty good...sorta like a pina colada!

Will definitely look into Nectar. It looks very promising!

Did anyone use the Proteinex or Pro-Stat 64 right after surgery? How did those taste?

I've never done a mix. I don't like the powder. I've always only bought the premade 4-pack carton of Myloplex and/or Muscle Milk.
