Talking New but ready !!!!

Hello Everyone. My name is Robin and I am 27 years old living in Las Vegas NV. I am new to this site but I am ready to lose weight. I am currently 245 and I am on the weight watchers program. I have tried weight watchers in the past have lost weight but just like most people I stopped and gained some of the weight back. When I first did weight watchers I was 260. I was down to 235 and then got off the program. I gain 10lbs back and have had enough if it.

So if anyone has some great advice or any good recipes to cook please let me know. I am up for anything !!!!

Thanks Ashley. What was are you doing now to lose weight? Every idea helps.
Also if you are coming to Vegas and plan on doing some tours let me know. I work for a tour broker for different tour companies and we sell them at a discounted rate. If you want the website let me know. Any amount off can help.

Robinegg: I'm actually doing counting calories. I feel like it works the best for me for some reason. I am dividing my 1500 calorie limit each day into 5 small meals. Pretty much like this:
breakfast: 300
snack: 200
lunch: 400
snack: 200
dinner: 400

It's kind of like grazing. So i'm eating pretty much every 2 or 3 hours and really helps me not feel hungry. When I started I made sure I exercised like 30 minutes 5-6 days a week. Now I exercise 45-60 minutes 4-5 days of the week. I make sure I drink a lot of water like 70 ounces, or the recommended daily amount. I also make sure to just monitor my sodium and carbs to make sure they aren't like really crazy high. haha. i would love that website! i'm not exactly sure what we are doing yet but i'm pretty sure tours would be a very possible option! that would be awesome thanks!!

The counting calories sounds pretty good. I kinda do the same thing on weight watchers. I break my points up to eat about 5 times a day. I have to have my snacks. Plus I go to school after work so I dont have time to grab food so I snack a lot. My fav snack is called Crisps. I get them at costco. They are dried fruit. cal 39, no sodium. It is easier for me to care to school then food I have to keep cold.

The website is alllasvegastours.com. Of course you have to place www in front of it but I do not have enough post to have a website yet.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Also another question. Is there a way that 2 people can just email back in forth instead of posting?

If you ask me losing is easier than keeping it off. Weight Watcher's is the best but you need to make a lifestyle change, not a temporary commitment. You CAN do it! Good luck.

oh yeah you are right that does sound exactly like what i'm doing for counting calories! haha well keep it up then! thanks for the website i will definitely check it out. and those Crisps sound delicious too. That's one of the biggest issues I have, I go to school as well and I have a hard time figuring out what i should bring. I'm there two days a week for 10 hours so I have to eat all my meals there. And I dont want to carry around a lunch bag. hahaha.

yes you can private message people but i don't think you get the capability until you have been a member for 20 days. Just like your signature..it's dumb but that's their rules I guess.

I hate having to carry around a lunch box at school !!!!! And of course the only thing to eat at my school is a Mexican restaurant which is nothing but grease! So I try to find snack that don't have to be cold. I do know that my boyfriend carries some type of nuts with him for a snack. I can not eat nuts or seeds so I can't eat them but he says that it helps him through the day.

I understand why they make you wait 20 days for the special abilities but it does suck.

If you have any questions about the tours let me know. I work Sat-Wed so you can always call the toll free # and ask for me. If I am not here anyone can help you. I am lucky enough to work with great people that love their job.

hahahaha I can totally relate! At my school we have a pizza place, a chinese restaurant, and then all the hamburgers, chips, fries, fried chicken, anything you want that is topped with loads and loads of grease and butter at your disposal. Oh and ONE jamba juice, just for like the few people wanting to eat healthy. haha I'm like are ya kidding me? I'm destined to be fat by going here!! I could try nuts too, i'm not a big fan of them either tho. haha i carry around a lunch bag and I'm back to feeling like a nerdy kid in the 4th grade. hahaha

Welcome!! Hope weight watchers works well for you again. I started the Ideal Protein diet and so far it is working great. I eat very low carbs and fat so it is very restricted. I've done weight watchers in the past and had problems with always eatting carbs and sugary stuff to fill my points. Once I hit my goal i'm hoping to follow the point system again though, after eatting this strict I know I can be disicplined

I'm currently in school too and HATE carrying a lunch bag around too! I always feel hungry at school and have a hard time planning for the entire day, it's also horrible watching everyone eat junk food!
