So I started on here yesterday and have decided that my first mini goal will be to stay 20 days to get my tickler. I usually do very good the first two weeks of any "diet" and then by the 3rd week I have lost steam and usually most of the initial water is gone too but I have never been on a forum like this before and am loving all of the instant support. I actually woke up excited to start my day. Wow! Here I come day 20!
Its not too hard to stick around, getting friendly support etc. Its a good forum for that. I am not sure I could have stuck to good eating habits over a longer term without the support here. Its made a big difference to me.
Alcoholics Anonymous encourage their new members to make 30 meetings in 30 days to get over the critical time of quitting drinking, so I have suggested something similar to many new members here at 3FC. Log on daily and post at least 30 posts in 30 days....(or 20 will work too!) Even if you have a not so good day, never give up! Welcome to 3FC snoopy.
Welcome! I'm new here too, and I told myself something similar! It can be hard to start something and stick to it, but wanting to get that ticker is an incentive to be here and post for 20 days, which is definitely going to help me stay on track as far as weight loss goes. I know I can do it, and I know you can do it, too!
