Smash! That's the sound of a breakthrough.
We learn so much about ourselves in this journey. And I have just learned something very important and vital to me! I am
very content with telling myself that I'll do such-and-such tomorrow. I'll exercise tomorrow. I'll eat my veggies tomorrow. I'll clean the house tomorrow.
A habit I've tried so desperately to break.
So I give up on beating it for now. In fact, I'm going to embrace it! I want some ice cream? Okay, I'll have it tomorrow. Chocolate, sugar? Sure, tomorrow! A glass of soda or McDonalds? Tomorrow's better.
By convincing myself that I can have it tomorrow, I
feel satisfied and happy, as if I had it today. It feels so much better than saying I can't eat this or that anymore or not as often. In fact, I can have it
whenever I want! Just not today
