What is your game plan? I just got Insanity from beachbody and it really kicks my butt. I am curious to here about how everyone else is achieving their goals. Good Luck
I try and keep my game plan relatively simple but effective! I'm eating 1307 calories a day, and burning about 350 at the gym. I do cardio and free weights, and on the weekends do a tae bo or kickboxing class! I seem to be able to lose 1.5-2lbs a week on this plan. I'm never hungry and eat tons of fruits and veggies to fill up! What about you?
I'm doing the Insanity workout for the next two months which I will follow with the P90X workout. I am trying to eat five small meals a day with tons of veggies. I really limit my food intake at night too which seems to be helping.
By the way how did you post something. It only lets me reply. Maybe between the two of us we'll actually be able to navigate this site! lol.
Hey fellow AZ lady! I know it will be nice to lose the weight before the hot summer days of 115 degrees.! I won't wear tank tops in that weather because I'm too embarrassed.

Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated and inspired - you'll be a wonderful addition to any of them. Try the 20 somethings, Calorie Counters and the weight loss support forums, they're active and very helpful - also the Success stories are a definite must for motivation. To make it easier to get started on the site , check out the Announcements and Help forum - it has the answers to a lot of the questions that come up as a newbie.
There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.
I've only been here since last fall, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of going off track or giving up. It has made all the difference in my success so far.
