Im just curious what kind of dog everyone has and where they sleep?
My dog is a soon to be 6 month old Great Pyrenees she weighs 50 lbs or more, she sleeps in her crate at night. We have had her since she was 6 weeks old. Once we move and get her used to the other house we plan on transitioning her to where she can sleep outside of her crate. We are looking to get her a male companion sometime in April unfortunately we like large dogs which makes it hard to find landlords who can look past the dogs large size and see that they are very well behaved. But anyways tell me about your doggy and how silly they can be. My dog loves to dig and its so frustrating since her paws drag mud in the house so Im buying this paw plunger thingy and hopefully it will help because I am getting so tired of shampooing the carpet
Oh and also I forgot to say that we are getting her spayed next week but we might wait till she is 9 months old but her and her male companion will not be bred and he will be fixed also when we find a male. Let just talk about our doggies

My husband had a Chihuahua when I met him. He's slept in the bed always. I had a big mixed breed dog that stays outside normally. She gets to sleep in the laundy room sometimes, but never IN the house.
Then we got a rat terrier puppy a couple of years ago. She slept in a box for one whole night, before she learned the joy of laps and cuddling. She's been in the bed ever since at night, even though she's crated during the day. Her favorite spot is nestled in a ball between my knees...
We're getting a Shih Tzu puppy! We go Friday to pick which of the litter we want, and she'll be ready to come home in about another 4 weeks. Our plan is to crate train her.
DH and I have a chihuahua-terrier mix. He sleeps in his crate at night, but after DH takes him out at 6am he gets under the covers and snuggles with me until I get up at 7am.
When we're not home he mostly sleeps on the couch. When we are home, he prefers a lap.
We have 2 four legged kids! A boston terrier - he's little, about 16 lbs. He sleeps in the bed with us -not that my husband was too thrilled with this arrangement - he has adjusted though - LOL! We also have a Hungarian Viszla - he's my husbands service dog but when he's not working he's just one of the family. He weighs in around 75 lbs. Needless to say he does not sleep in bed with us! He has his own comforter on the floor by our bed.
You should see them play, it is hysterical! They wrestle and it is so cute! It's funny 'cause sometimes I swear the little one thinks he's the big dog & the big one could swallow the little one in 1 gulp but he's as gentle as a lamb with him!
My husband and I just got a Yorkie in September. She was 8 weeks old when we got her, so we had her in a crate next to our bed. This allowed me to hear her when she needed to go outside. Once it got cold, we started letting her sleep with us. She is now almost 6mo and only about 4 lbs. We can't believe we went so long without a little addition like her. She stole our hearts and is completely spoiled.... with limitations. We watch The Dog Whisperer all the time and use some of his techniques. It is so cool having a little munchkin puppy running around. And.... hopefully in a year or so... we will have a munchkin baby running around too!
We have Brittanys and they either sleep on the bed or on their beds on the floor. They can sleep wherever they want! When they are little they are in their crates, until we can trust them to be out and not get into trouble or leave us presents to clean up!
I have two Pyrs! LOVE my Pyrenees!!! One of them is an adult, the other a 5 month old puppy (her name is Lupine, but my SO likes to call her "Marley"). I already had her spayed, and my big boy is neutered.
Both of them sleep on the floor next to the bed, although when everyone is up and about Hunter (the big boy) will hop up on the bed or sofa for a nap.
Where did you get your Pyr? Has she been a handful?
We have the best dog, Jake. He is a Schnoodle; half schnauzer, half poodle, which means he doesn't shed! He is 21 pounds and sleeps on our bed. He starts at the foot, but somehow manages to scoot closer and closer to us through the night. He is also crate trained, so if he needs to be crated, he doesn't freak out. It comes in handy when we go to my parents for the holidays.
Two cockers who sleep in their crates in the kitchen. One is too chubby to even think about jumping on our bed! Our previous dog either slept on the floor of our bedroom or in my walk-in closet.
Our dogs are just over a year old, so they're pretty cute and playful, but have developed a really bad habit of eating frozen poop in the backyard this winter. If that's not bad enough, when they come in they frequently barf it back up. I love my little Green machine carpet cleaner!

Our 11 year old pup (6.5 pounds) sleeps right up against me. This past year though we've been allowing our two boys to take turns sleeping with him which helps me sleep. I don't sleep well with the dog. But I miss him when he's not there too.
Two big hairy golden retrievers for me. They sleep in my room. One is a bed hog, so she's not allowed up there, but the other gets up and cuddles with me for an hour, then gets down because it's too hot. I love big dogs too!
Mine love to play in the mud too. I sometimes just grab their water bowl from by the back door and swish their paws in it to get the mud off, then rinse out their bowl and put in fresh water. Great Pyrs are beautiful!
I have 2 mutts, one is a border collie cross (65lb, dog in the back in my avatar), he sleeps right beside me until my husband comes to bed, then he sleeps on his pillow on my side of the bed.
Our other mutt is a siberian husky cross (35lb, dog in front), she used to sleep on the bed also but she's 14 years old now and has a hard time jumping up. She usually stays up with my husband and then comes to bed with him, she sleeps on a pillow at the foot of his side.
