Dude! I am so sharing this awesomeness with you, because yesterday I did 10
real push-ups in a row! I was fitness testing for my aerobics class so I did those and then another 25 on my knees.
Let me tell you, 6 weeks ago I could not do a single real push-up. I would lower myself down and then my arms would quiver and I would collapse. Doing
one was such a huge accomplishment for me, I bragged on myself for days. I never thought I could do 10. Now, I'm thinking "Bring it on!"
As far as what to do, all I can tell you is what my trainer put me through: lots and lots and lots and lots of on the knees push-ups. Push-ups with one hand on the medicine ball, push-ups on the wall, push-ups on the balance ball, chest flys, and lots of other assorted core exercises of pain (think plank).
The real truth is though, if
I, who consider push-ups to be my kryptonite, can do 10 freakin' push-ups then anyone can do 'em.
