Default Kettlebells anyone?

After researching for a while last summer, I finally bought myself a 20lb bell. Now, I'm feeling a little bored with it & just want maybe a 20 minute routine that I can get into the habit of doing a few days per week.

I go to the gym daily & use weights there, so the bell is sitting unused a lot.

I figured I could start doing some ab work with it, I've done 1 leg hamstring bends, snatches, cleans, presses, triangle pose, and the turkish getup (I could only do 2x on each side!). Other than that, I haven't explored much with it.

So, what exercises are you doing with yours? I need some variation!

Have you looked at the kettlebell sticky?

Here is a good link on kettlebell workouts:

I have a couple DVDs that are pretty decent, the kettlebell Goddess workout is simple and a bit hokey but effective. I really like the Art of Strength DVDs as well:

Thanks! I must have scanned the stickys too quick, that's a good resource for getting the dust off my bell .

I think I've seen a few Lauren Brooks you tube videos, she's awesome! One day, I hope to do the pistol (and not crack my knees )

For a look at some truly amazing kettlebell videos, search for Steve Cotter on youtube. As someone else said, I don't think he is human!

I have not additional work outs to add. I just started the kettlebell a few weeks ago (25#) and am seeing a difference already....although the scale isnt moving.

I would really like to try kettlebells. The person in charge of my gym (which is a company gym) said that kettlebells are on her "2010 wish list". I really hope we get a set.

My gym only has 1kb, and it's HEAVY! I think it's maybe 35lbs or something! I was scared to even squat with it .
