Default A brisk walk in the cold--now I feel better!

I've spent the last 2-3 days over-eating on unhealthy stuff and alternating between lying around listlessly and short bursts of frantic holiday activity. This afternoon I decided to get dressed, wash my face, and take a nice brisk walk outside. It's a brisk 28(f) outside so it's a little chilly, but not nearly cold enough to give me an excuse to stay inside. So I bundled up with a lightweight down jacket, scarf and gloves and walked a brisk 2 miles. Now I feel better! I finally feel like I have blood running through my veins, my cheeks are pink, and I think I've got the energy to throw a load in the washer and do some tidying up.

Why, oh why, do I spend time laying around when getting out and MOVING always makes me feel better!???
