I was just curious what you ladies put as your weight on your driver's licenses. Do you fib? If so, by how much? Or are you truthful?
I recently lost my license and had to get a new one today. Back in high school I lied and wrote that I weighed 150, even though I was at least 165. Today, as you can tell by the ticker, I'm much heavier. So even though I put 180, and obviously fibbed by 40 lbs., I still feel like I should've gone lower. When I was filling out the form, I figured 180 is pretty good considering my actual weight, but it's still super heavy for my height...which is probably why I rounded up being 5'4.5" to 5'5" to make myself feel better. And now the 5'5" looks weird to me, like it's a fake ID or something. I think I'd just gotten used to the 5'4" me.
Trivial topic, I know, and not really related to weight loss support, but I was curious what other people did since some of my friends fib and others tell the truth.
mine says 185 i believe
i was thinking about this the other day.. how when i finally get to my goal im gonna go get a new license and feel so proud to tell them the tRuTh!!!
I'm a liar on my driver's license. When I moved to Illinois 4 years ago I said I weighed 210...I was clearly in deep denial since I probably weighed somewhere around 270 at the time. I'm still I liar, but at least that's because I've lost weight. In May my license is up for renewal and I fully plan on my weight being truthful. I doubt I'll be at my goal then, but it will be nice to be honest. The interesting thing about my weight is that as the numbers went up I was horribly ashamed and embarrassed (even when I weighed 150), but now that the numbers are dropping I am so freakin' proud to be at 203 I don't mind broadcasting it to the world, lol.
This is so funny that you bring this up! I was just thinking the other day that I'm actually the weight listed on my ID...this has never been the case before...I think it's the first time ever! lol
Mine says 220lbs...I think I had put that on there when I had to get a new DL after I got married It expires on my next birthday and will change it then!
I had to renew my license this fall, and I put 130 as my weight. Which was a lie, but a number I was aspiring to get to. And as of today's weigh-in, I'm actually there. So now I might have the problem of actually weighing LESS than what the license says! Believe me, that has never happened before! CRAZY!
We don't have weight on the driver's licenses in MA. I'm SURE I would have lied though! It must be really wonderful to be able to change the weight on your driver's license to your real weight once you're at goal
Big liar here. Mine said 150 since I got it at 16 and I never updated it until a few years ago when they made everyone get the newer style IDs. I went to the DMV for a new picture and this very sassy older woman at the window took a look at my weight, stared at me over the top of her glasses with that who-are-you-trying-to-fool look and said, "150??" while shaking of her head. I said, "I'm willing to go 170, but 20 pounds is the most I'm willing to gain today." She ignored the rest of the time.
I had been floating the same weight pretty for several licenses. No one ever re-asked me what my weight was at the time of renewal so I didn't change it. That is until last time.
This evil woman at the DMV was just horrid. She was rude the entire time I was filling out the new paperwork and voter registration (switched counties). She got to the weight part, looked at my current license, looked at me and said, "This is not your real weight, you are way heavier than this. Go over to the scale so we can get your real weight" in the snottiest, most condescending voice ever.
So we went to the scale and I was 27 pounds heavier than my license. The way she was acting I would have thought I was 100 pounds more.
Another DMV lady came and apologized to me on the way out.
