Lightbulb Daily Praise

There is so much talk on here of how we put ourselves down and we have a great team here for support so I thought of adding a thread for us Bingers for daily postings of good things we plan on doing each day and success at the end of each day.

I'll start, Today I will drink my 8 glasses of water and get up and move for atleast 30 mins!

All morning I've been telling myself I'm sloppy, chubby, weird. So today, I am going to:

- lift weights
- stick as close to 1500 calories as humanly possible (I have a hard time eating 1500, it feels like so little)
- apply makeup, or look up haircuts -- whatever it takes to feel I look nice. (I plan on rewarding myself with a haircut when I lose 5 more pounds, that should be my main motivation!)

I'm glad you are motivating yourself! but if you feel not good at 1500, sometimes going up just 200 helps, like 1700.

christymourning -- thanks for the advice. I actually usually eat around 1700, though I try for 1500. I feel like I should cut those numbers down a little, though, because I'm short enough that I need to net 1500 calories a day to lose even one pound a week. I dunno, people bigger than me can get by fine on 1300 or 1400 or 1500 calories, why can't I? That's how it feels.

ETA: I did it, girls! I ate 1500 calories AND did a tough workout. My biceps are still shaking and no binge eating either! hooray for me! how was YOUR day?

Thumbs up I need this

Thanks for another great idea, christymourning! Your posts are so motivating. Doing a WATP workout after signing off.

I'll be more mindful of the "self-talk" going on in my head. Negative thoughts can really sabotage my efforts. I now realize I haven't even allowed myself to window-shop, believing I didn't deserve some (much-needed) clothing because of my weight gain. I'm going to just stop that Time to dress and love the body I have - right now.

Next routine to reactivate: Filling a water decanter that's been sitting unused and drinking it to "empty" by day's end. Getting 8+ glasses daily always makes me feel great and provides the skin with a healthy glow

I'm loving "MyFitnessPal" for tracking the eats and exercise!

Thanks again, CM. Your suggestions are taking away all my excuses and tendencies to procrastinate. I'll be sure to check in more often to stay in the groove.

Time to get a move on

Jean
