~Do not feel bad~ We have all had our moments.
I never ever ever ever ever ever ..................Bring stuff I know I will evenutally get into and eat that I shouldn't into my home~Snacks are always low calorie~No More candy Unless the kids bring it in~and they know to hide it LOL!
Anyways~I always tell everyone~pass up Fast food /Do not bring Junk food into your home~leave the temptation at the store.
having certain times of the day you eat to train yourself....This works well for me.
GOODLUCK!!!!!

you dont HAVE to have candy in the house just because you have a child there...

I agree 100% with Lori and Iconised... instead of trying to stay away from the junk, it's a WHOLE LOT easier to keep the junk away from you!

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I think it's a mistake to have candy on hand all the time (or even often) for your children. I believe sweets should be a special treat for kids not a regular thing. Otherwise, won't they grow up eating poorly? I am sorry for being preachy, but that just doesn't make any sense to me.

Also, it's ok that you messed up... everyone does! Tomorrow will be a better day! Good luck!

I know how you feel... Yesterday a girl from work brought in the cookie dough she was selling as a fundraiser for her daughter. I ordered a couple a few weeks ago and forgot about it. I did well all day except for the cookie dough. I put it in the freezer so this won't happen again. Today I slept in and didn't eat much before work and I'm coming down with the girl flu so everything sounded so good. There was a bunch of "dead" food at work tonight so I had some stuffed mushrooms and chicken parm. I brought almonds with me to try to resist all those temptations, but I was still hungry after eating the almonds.
