hey girls! my name is ashley im 25 years old and i live in austin texas. my weakness is french fries.
i recently stumbled upon this website and i think i may have found my new home. i started eating healthier about a week ago.. wait no to be exact 8 days ago. im sick of being overweight and im sick of being out of breath when i walk up my 3 flights of stairs everyday.
ive been using an iphone app called Lose it! to track all my calories everyday and its super helpful and makes me realize if i want to eat something why waste the calories on something that doesn't fill me up and but that i should eat something thats better for me. i have lost 5 pounds in 8 days

my goal is to reach 175. i started at 248 and this morning i weighed in at 243. my main issue is portion sizes and skipping meals but with tracking it it really helps.
ive been to my apartment complex's fitness center 5 of those 8 days and after i finish this post i will drag my lazy butt into my sweatpants plug my headphones into my ipod and make myself go again.
day 1 of working out i did 5 mins on the elliptical and 30 mins on the treadmill day 2 i did 10 mins on the elliptical. i have continued to do the 10 mins on the elliptical and 30 on the treadmill for all 5 of those days. my goal right now is to do 15 mins on the elliptical. everyday it feels easier and easier.
