Default Stretching Quads ?

I have yet to find a stretch that will really stretch out my quads. I am very flexible and the stretch on the ground where you step forward with one leg back doesn't seem to even touch my quads. I still am to short armed to reach my foot so I've had no luck in doing pull the foot up behind you stretch. Any other ones out there? I only know of the 2. No one to assist at this time. Later tonight, maybe.

What about doing it kneeling?

How about a yoga pose similar to this one? I don't know if it's called the same thing the one that I do but it's a great quad stretcher! Basically you start by kneeling and sit back onto your heels, then slowly lean back to what's comfortable for you. I can get down all the way to the floor just like this picture only the feet stay under my rear at all times I don't put them to the side. Try it!

That is what I used yesterday and it worked great but not this morning. Oh, but it did right now. Maybe I just over did it yesterday but didn't realize it. Lots of lunges and squats.

Ok, not as flexible as that.

Can you do it laying on your side? Or your belly?

This is my favorite.

Reclining Hero Pose

When I started in April 2008, I had to sit my butt on a block, and could barely lean my torso back at all. I couldn't even lower myself to my elbows. Now, I have to do this everyday, it's become such a feel good pose.

I like the one where you're sitting on the ground one leg out in front and the other (the one you're stretching) bent to the side. You HAVE to tilt your hips up to feel it, especially if you're already flexible, but it works great.

Oh gosh, I have to try the reclining hero pose, that looks uncomfortable! LOL
I am curios to see if I can do it.

It's seriously uncomfortable until you reach a certain degree of flexibility. Then it feels really good.
