Default Just want to introduce myself

Hey everyone just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Donna and I am 28 years old. I have currently lost 75lbs with weight watchers but still have about 100 more to lose. I love weight watchers but I am currently looking for some support in between my weekly meetings. I have a real addiction to McDonald's, that although I had in check has reared its ugly head again recently and I don't want to slip back into my old habits because I have come WAY TO FAR!! I was hoping I could meet some people on here to help me get back on track. Thanks for any support you could send my way...

Hi Donna,

Welcome to the club. Well done on you lose. It's not easy but if feels so good when it happens. Just hang in there.

Fast food is just too easy. A lot of it tastes pretty ordinary and I don't really know why we bother with it. I hate the buns at McDonalds in Aus. They don't taste like hamburger buns should. Their Chicken salads are nice though. If we have to eat at McDonalds, I usually opt for that.

I don't know the cost in the US but in Australia, most of the fast food giants are pretty expensive for what you get. Save the money you would spend on junk and treat yourself to something nice - calorie free.

Let us know how you are getting on, you have really done well to get this far along. Remember if you come off your rails one day. Get back on.

Hi Donna and

You have come so far!!!!!Keep going!!!!!

I lost most of my weight on my own-getting healthier and moving more. Last winter I put back on 20. I kept saying I would get back on track before it was too late. Thank goodness it was only 20. I only have 6# to lose before I'll be back to my low weight again.

Where did I go wrong? I started snacking again on pita chips and Doritos. I started eating sherbet every night after dinner(high high sugar). I got back into the craving spot where I always wanted more.

I am following South Beach, but I know there is very strong Weight Watchers support here.

I check in every day, plan ahead and come here and visit when the temptation to cheat is strong.

Best Wishes!
