Default I keep falling off :(

I'm back and going to start over again I lost 30 pounds in 4 months last year and I gained a lot of it back I was fine until I went on vacation with my in-laws and I never got back on track when I came back from vacation. Well today will be my first day ever that I will join a gym and my goal is 3 days a week for 1-2 hours, I'm also getting back on the calorie counting wagon. Wish me luck. I really need support, without support I seem to really fall of track...fast!

Wish me luck!

Welcome back! I know firsthand how a vacation can derail your weight loss...This week I should FINALLY get back down to my pre-vacation weight. I was on vacation for 9 days from April 25 to May 3, and I figure it is going to end up taking me 3 weeks to get back down to me pre-vacation weight of 180.5...so frustrating!

Losing 30 pounds in 4 months is quite an accomplishment...with that kind of determination, you will be back on track in no time!

Thanks Babes! I go back on vacation with the inlaws from July 18-25 and I'm going to try my hardest to stay on track. Its hard when they eat out for breakfast, lunch and dinner or just order pizza etc. I'm going to buy LOTS of veggies when we get to the beach and if they order pizza I'll eat half a slice and fill up on veggies.

Back on track I go.

Welcome back! Coming back is always hard, especially admitting it (at least for me it is) so I think it's awesome that you are here. There are so many people here who can help support you, just keep coming back! That's a key thing, I think.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life. What came before has gotten you to this point with all the knowledge and insight you have. Maybe that vacation/wagon-derailment has shown you what can happen if you completely let go. Maybe that's the key? Don't be too hard on yourself.

One thing I find that helps with vacations is looking up food possibilities in the area before you go. A little obsessive...maybe. But it helps.

My husband and I are going on a mini-vacation for our anniversary in July, and I'm using a little time to investigate restaurants we may go to, and look up the menus if possible. That way I can decide what might be best for me to eat, wherever we choose to go, and if there are places I should entirely stay away from.

Your veggie idea is great, too! Take veggies and other snacks you can use to help. That way if you're overruled on a restaurant where there's nothing you want to eat, you can go and have something small, like a salad, and STILL have little snacks to keep you going throughout the day...

Great job on your 100% on target day! I'm half-way there, I got the food part right yesterday.

I'm one of those habitual faller offers lol myself so to speak. I guess it just matters that you take a set back for what it is, a set back and get right back on the horse

Welcome back! The same thing happened to me, I had managed to lose 26 lbs last year and gained it all but 5 lbs.

I find that lack of planning is my downfall. It was very difficult to get back on track. I don't know why I just couldn't find it in me to start over. Then early this March I found the strength (thank God!) to start and I'm 1 lb away from what I lost last year.

I won't lie, I'm so scared of falling off the wagon again. It's always happening to me and I don't want this to be "another" one of those times.

I agree with you, support is a big thing. But it's hard to come in here after falling off. I'm with Nonnahs on that one!

But I'm here, I came back a few weeks ago but was just lurking! So welcome back to you as well.

We should find some rope to tie us to the wagon this time!
