Default Back/Hip Pain HELP!!!

I swear someone has it out for me!!!! First I changed my eating habits and my 'regularity' went all to heck. Now for the last 3 weeks i've been going to an indoor track, first I had to deal with shin splints...then when I started getting over that I realized I can't jog much because my posture restricts my breathing. So I've been trying to be more aware of standing up straight to open my chest up. BUT NOW!!! Since my back is not used to being in the position its in...under my left shoulder blade and my left back side of my hip is burning/paining. Shoulder burns when I'm not walking...hip bothers me when I do walk. I have a job where I sit all day too which I know doesn't help. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Have you been properly fitted for shoes?

Did you just start running from not running?

Good shoes properly fitted for you are a must when running and also easing into it is a must when running.

I have not been properly fitted for shoes...hmmm that can cause issues from your hip all the way up to my back?? I started out by walking, then I walk a couple laps then jog one...etc... I'll give that a shot. Thanks

Yup, improper shoes can cause pain throughout your body. I would talk to a running store and see if they can help you find the right shoe. Some running stores offer things such as gait analysis as well.

Well, if you are willing to spare the money I would say visit a chiropractor.
