What? Noone here yet today? Wow.

Well, good morning everyone I have been quite out of the loop, but plan on getting back up to date with everyone this week. I have a lot of projects going currently, but I do take breaks......so I will catch up on the reading of last weeks posts later.

Katie....still going strong? I'm sure you are......and I am so proud of you and happy for you. It is a dang good feeling to be in charge of your own body again, isn't it?

I will try and do some more personals later.......must get back to work before baby Maria wakes from her nap
XOXO

hello all. not much to report. i've been feeling icky/sick the past few days. not sure why. feels like morning sickness is back or something. i have to lay down for it to subside. not sure what the deal is, but it sucks. because i don't have the opportunity to lay down much. but i did almost all day sunday, so that was good.

other than being huge, uncomfortable and everything else..that's about it for me. DD lost a second tooth last week too.

ok..gonna go for now. be back later.

Good morning Nicole and to everyone yet to post.. I had a great weekend. I weighed in on Saturday and lost 3.6 pounds for a total of 8 pounds in 4 weeks. I started a new plan yesterday called the Summer slim down and I am doing my first Takeoff and am currently thinking about how many calories might be in this paper cup on my desk because I am thinking about eating it, I am very hungry and I am sure if has some fiber. Anyway lunch is right around the corner. The plan is very specific and I hope I can follow it, because 20 pounds lighter sounds great. i was wondering if anyone has used any other juices instead of the take off? because in the 8 weeks you are suppose to use 4 takeoffs.

Amy, I have used 4 oragnes a day for TO before. And I have heard you can use grapefruit too? I am sure others will chime in with other options.
Hope all of you had a great weekend. It is flooding here in Fargo so everyone is sandbagging. Unfortunately I have no time to help and we are not getting out of work to help so I will not be able to.

I am really off plan and I need to kick my self in the butt. I have been contemplating going back to the Center again. Just to lose another 20. I just can't seem to get back on plan myself. I wish this site was doing it for me but I think I need much more accountablilty. UGH!

Hope you all have a great Monday!

Ok it's me again. So I just called LA and they said I could probably get 14 weeks at $7 a week which is under $100.00! I think I am going to do it. I really need them to be accountable to. I know I will be able to do it if I have them. At least I hope I can. : )

That sounds great. I understand about the accountability. Also the price sounds really good. I know that you can do it. I also found that the takeoff is probably one canteloupe, 4 oranges, 2 grapefruits. sounds right?

Yes that sounds right! I could remember since I have only done the oranges. I think I am going to go back on Monday the 30th and re-commit. I can't beleive how nervous I am. I guess the money part of it really motivates me. If I am paying for it I am going to do it right. HA! Hope you all have a great day!

good for you cecilia for going back to the center! i'm sure you'll thank yourself later for doing it! i'm still debating myself, on if i want to go back to the center or not after the baby. i don't think i will. i'm gonna be too busy to commit to going in and i did so well on my own anyways (but then again DH was gone for most of the time so it was easy to cook what i wanted) but i know what i need to do and i know that i WANT to and HAVE to do this..so i think i should be ok. we'll see. anyways..i'm proud of you for doing what you need to do to meet your goal!

amy--i believe that's right for the TO. i used grapefruits a few times. i don't think i'll be doing a TO when i get back on plan..i just don't think they work the way they're suppose to for me. i'll most likely just jump back on plan and right into journaling, portion control, etc. you're off to a great start too!

so where is everyone else? i saw that joni posted this weekend..but what about jersey amy, amylou, lettie, and a bunch of others i'm forgetting. hmmm..

Thanks Jillian! You did do really well on your own. I thought I was too. But all of a sudden I was gaining it back. So I guess I need some accountability to get back in shape. Thanks for your support!

Cecil, 14 weeks of accountability for only 98$ is a good deal, I'd go for it. It will make you focus and get a few more pounds off for sure. I was always better when I had money on the line too for some reason, like that made the effort more "serious".

Jillian, I hope you got some more time to lay down and rest.

Amy, How wonderful to see the 3.6 pounds gone! You are doing it, creating a thinner future for yourself. I've done TO with Juice, cantaloupe, oranges and grape fruit... ha ha ha... I'm an experienced taker offer.... I think I lost the most on the grapefruit, but it can be a bit acidic.

Hey Joni, Great that you've become a boot camp regular. Let me know if you find the magic formula for muffin top reduction.

Hello,
Just an FYI from an old LAWL employee - you can do the "take off" without a juice. It used to be called jump start and you eat the same foods (proteins and green veggies) but you add in either 3 oranges each day OR 1/4 cantaloupe 3 times each day.
Hope this helps!

Well i finally had a POP day yesterday! First one in awhile. Felt good to feel in control again. Unfortunately I did quite a bit of damage before I smartened up, but such is life...and this is a journey that will have bad days, bad weeks, bad months. Just going to push forward one day at a time.

WOW, 12 lbs in 3 weeks is amazing!! Congrats!

Hey guys!

Sorry I didn't get to stop in yesterday, it's been so hectic. That HS musical that I am playing is this week and there are dress rehearsals Mon-Weds, and shows Thurs- Sat. Yey.

I got my new car. It is BEAUTIFUL! I don' even have a pic yet, but when I do, I will post it!

I recommitted to LAWL yesterday. WW just isn't my thing. I know LAWL works, and that I CAN do it. I lost over 40 lbs last time and I didn't have all the resources that I have now.I am really excited. I started yesterday on plan #3, and bought TO on eBaY to do when it arrives.

AmyM- congrats on the 3 lbs! We have similar stats!

Jillian- sorry you're feeling so icky. The end is in sight!

Hey to everyone else! Gotta run to class!
