Default Ready to set sail (I think)

Get the hint of reservation!! This is a "hafta-do" thing for me. I've searched high and low for the quick easy fix...guess it isn't there! I'm joining WW (not my first shot) on Wednesday but I need some tips for getting my mind ready to change! It's hard to try something again I've failed at a thousand times...hoping there is a reader out there who can understand that and offer some wisdom. Thanks...this looks like a really fun place to be!

I am not sure on how to get your mind ready, but I know for sure it needs to be. You have to want it, look at how much better you will feel and look, how much healthier you will be. how much more your personality will shine around people when you feel good about yourself. Setting a good example for your kids.
just look at all of the positives it will bring. And remember you did not gain this weight over night and it definitley will not come off over night. Give yourself some time and stick with it. It WILL be worth it in the end.
Also it takes about 20lbs before someone will notice so don't get discouraged.

I've failed on many other diets, Atkins, South Beach, but WW just works. I lost the majority of my weight, and am currently trying to lose the last seven. You can do this! I think part of the difference between this time for me was that I had a lot to lose. I was very determined and stayed motivated by taking a before picture. I also had a goal picture, my avatar, of my favorite female athlete. I added magazines like Runner's World, Women's Health, Self and Shape into my budget. They were all very motivating. If I had to choose just one though, I would probably pick Women's Health.

Red face Beginning...again

I have also looked for quick fixes. There are none for sure. My husband just suggested Atkins today...again! I have "been there, done that" and I gained back more. I cannot and will not do that again. Sick, sick, sick of hiding in my own skin. But, words of encouragement...."there must be a way" and "I must love myself enough and put myself first"
