Smile New Here, Hi Everyone!

Hi all,

I am new to this forum... I'm currently doing WW to try and lose 35 lbs to get down to a healthy weight. I've pretty much been "chubby" for most of my life, with the exception of when I was around 19 and I weighed 105 lbs. Now that i'm in my 30's, I guess i've kind of gotten lazy lately and there's no reason for it. Also, i'm only 5ft tall, so every bit of weight gained or lost shows. My previous highest weight ever was 138 lbs. Now, i'm currently at 147 lbs, which scares me. I really need to get this weight off once and for all, so here I am! Hoping to get the job done with some support, and maybe meet some new friends along the way as well!

We can all do this!!

Nice to meet you! Good luck on your mission! I have about 40-50lbs to lose! I feel your pain on the 'getting lazy in your 30's'. I am definitely there! I have two young boys (6&9) that I have used as an excuse to "not have the time" to care of me! Between being their personal taxi service - it does get difficult to keep up and remember that I always come first - as selfish as it sounds. I am not good to my kids well being if I am not taking care of myself and I am personally sick of going out and ALWAYS being the heavy one! I am doing the Fat Smash diet. Started today. 9 days of nothing but veggies and fruit (well, brown rice, low fat yogurt, and water water water water). I've done it before and I know it works. I know ppl that have been on WW and that works REALLY well too. Good luck and keep in touch with your progress!
