Default needing support

hi everyone ! I have been on a rollar coster with my weight since having my kids i start out fine and now once again I am eatting everything in site it seems to comfort me no clue why but when i eat i feel better and when i dont i feel kind of down . I really feel like crap about myself and life in general i just want to meet some people how can help me through it Do any of you have a mypace page ? thanks in advance

I don't have a myspace by I have a facebook and a twitter. if you want my info, you could PM me. I'll be honest... food is a huge comfort for me too, and I used to binge whenever I felt sad or upset or depressed. However, I have found that exercise is actually a BIGGER mood booster than emotional eating. Try to find an exercise that you really enjoy, and just go do it whenever you feel upset or sad. I was going through a funk for about a week (I currently don't have a job, and the job hunt has gotten me discouraged)... really depressed and down on myself. Reverted to bad habits... that seemed to make me feel even worse because then I felt like a failure ON TOP of my other bad feelings. However, a few days ago I pulled out the good ol' dance dance revolution pad. I always found that to be so much fun. And... I just started doing it. Let all my frustrations and emotions motivate me, and I danced and danced until my legs were shaky. After that... I felt SOOOOO much better. Now, I have been doing it every day, and I gotta tell you, I feel so upbeat now. So much better than the helplessness I felt before. Sometimes getting up and doing something you love, that is also good exercise, really helps. Good luck!

HI lastchance . This WHOLE site is dedicated to support and weightloss buddies. Idk about myspace pages but I know for sure you can find a thread that suits you where you will get to know tons of people and they will support you to the end. If you don't find you you want to jump in start you own. Good Luck on your weightloss journey.

What is the dance thing you are talking about ? You sound like me with food i eat it for comfort and then i feel crappy for eatting it i notice i eat mroe when its cold outside to i hope this site helps a little . thanks everyone on i dont have facebook lol i just set up myspace and i have no clue how to relaly work it yet ha

welcome lastchance! There's lots of pals here, dealing with comfort eating and bingeing might be the Chicks in Control forum. Glad you're here, and stick with it.

you can post a weight loss ticker after 20 days and 20 posts on this site. So just be patient and active.
