Hey everyone,

I am a 22yo female, college student/newlywed. I was married in Vegas in May. My hubby is great, but after we started dating (and he officially made me quit my cycle of diet pills, crash diets and eating disorders) I gained weight. I am 5'8", 273.4 pounds, but not for long!

Not technically. I eat sensibly. I'm really conscious of processed foods and chemicals. I try to think about whether or not what I am eating is going to be useful to my body. I have off days, but I just try to use common sense.
I have a treadmill, so I try to walk/jog/run several times a week to keep my metabolism up. In the past, I have lost weight quickly so I am just trying to focus on how to lose it and keep it off. Not so much a diet, but really a lifestyle change.

Hey there NewlyFat...

We have several areas you may want to check out. The 20-somethings is for those in that age range. We also have the 100 lb club, for those on their way to losing or who have lost 100 lbs or more.

In addition, we have the "Whole Foods Lifestyle" forum, which is for those taking a more whole-foods approach to eating. Finally, we have the "Chicks in Control" forum, for those who struggle with disordered eating patterns.

So as you can see, lots of spots fit in perfectly with your situation! Look around and post in one or all of them. Can't wait to get to know you better!
