Question Issues with Antibiotics?

I've been on an antibiotic for about 5 days and My stomach/digestive tract feels pumped full of air and I'm considering making myself dump so that I can spend some quality time in the bathroom.
has anyone had a similar effects

I was on antibiotics last December for tonsillitis
The antibiotics made me soooooo sick. "Bathroom" problems, if you get me. Sorry, TMI? .
They also made my stomach feel all tickly and weird. I don't react well to antibiotics.

I have been on high dose antibiotics since Sunday October 26 due to Staphococcus Pnuemonia. Even taking a daily colace, I am only going about once every other day if I am lucky, and it is ummm uncomfortable. I am lactose intolerant and even broke down and ate a cheese quesidilla trying to get things moving, nothing seems to help. If you find a cure for antiobiotic caused bathroom issues I would love to hear them.

Well, Levaquin is used for all sorts of things: UTIs, skin infections, bronchitis, some types of pneumonia and anthrax.

And yeast infections are sadly, just secondary to the antibiotics knocking down your normal flora. They get me everytime I take an antibiotic.

Sorry to intrude here, I'm just browsing the forum. I see anything about medications and as a pharmacy student I feel obligated to read the thread. Maybe learn something. ;>

I, however, don't know anything about antibiotics post WLS.

I was on Levaquin recently for an infection and I did not have any problems with it.
