Default Just need a kick here!

I just need a little input and motivation!!

I've lost quite a bit, but I feel like i'm at somewhat of a plateau here! In the last month I havent exercised nearly enough! And hardly at all really!! But with starting the college semester I just dont feel like doing anything! And I feel like crap because of it! Exercising makes me happier, but I just have so much to constantly think about that i'm not exercising enough.

I'm lucky that i've managed to stay at 170! (one of my last posts was 8/31 and I was at 172!)

I just need a friendly.. push.

Well that's as close as I can find...LOL

Motivation comes from within. Maybe go to the mall and look for the perfect holiday outfit. That will sometimes help me get motivated..

Might it help for you to consider how exercise can help you do well in class?

I find that my homework gets done much faster and I retain it much better if I do it just after my workout.

Hey Lunabelle! Now look chica, you're in school, and that's just like having a job, isn't it? Or if you work as well, you've got two jobs! So no wonder you're feeling stressed.

So--use some organizational strategizing. If you worked full time, like a lot of us 3FC-ers, and had a family to look after, you'd still have to find a way to eat right and fit in your exercise time.

You have a class schedule, so put your exercise time in there as well--even if it's just walking from one class to another, or going for a jog at lunch, or going to the gym in the afternoon, or doing a workout video in the evening--you can always fit in half an hour somewhere. Now you know you can, Missy!

We're rooting for you! Hang in there!

I also go to school, but I'm not taking a full load, and I have a husband and 6 year old, so I know what you mean to a smaller degree. I have to cook two meals, one for them and one for me, and I do ok at that. But your looking for motivation to work out, if you find it, pass it along to me because that is my biggest problem. I hate doing it. and when I get done, I am starving and to me that defeats the purpose if I am going to eat right after. I decided to do my cardio for twenty minutes after I take my son to school, and before I have to go to school. I find doing it in the morning, seems to really help. but everyone is different, but try it. your the most awake then too.

Hey sh3l5, wow, that's a lot!

So another strategy might be--try not to overload yourself so much that you have no time for yourself.
