Default Hello!

Newbie here!

I'm a grad student, about to start working on my Ph.D. Last year a friend and I teamed up, did SBD and a walking/running program, and I lost almost 15 LBS. However, we both got busy and gradually stopped doing anything resembling a diet or exercise, and now I'm above where I started =(

This time I'm going it on my own, and I think I'm just going to try to watch calories and add in more veggies/less fast food- something hopefully I can live with. In addition, I have a treadmill and a WiiFit, but I twisted my ankle about a week ago, so it'll be at least another week before I can use either.

Anyway, that's my story, so hi!

Hi, welcome to the board.

For my exercise I walk everyday, so until your ankle gets better you could walk a little bit, so at least you could fill that you are doing something.

Ty!

I might try some walking today- I've actually been moving w/o hobbling for a couple days, and I think on the treadmill I'd be less likely to hurt it again.

I'd much rather do the wii fit, but a) that's not really a workout for me and b) it has you move side to side too much for my ankle.

It's way more fun though....
