Hello!
Newbie here!
I'm a grad student, about to start working on my Ph.D. Last year a friend and I teamed up, did SBD and a walking/running program, and I lost almost 15 LBS. However, we both got busy and gradually stopped doing anything resembling a diet or exercise, and now I'm above where I started =( This time I'm going it on my own, and I think I'm just going to try to watch calories and add in more veggies/less fast food- something hopefully I can live with. In addition, I have a treadmill and a WiiFit, but I twisted my ankle about a week ago, so it'll be at least another week before I can use either. Anyway, that's my story, so hi! |
Hi, welcome to the board.
For my exercise I walk everyday, so until your ankle gets better you could walk a little bit, so at least you could fill that you are doing something. |
Ty!
I might try some walking today- I've actually been moving w/o hobbling for a couple days, and I think on the treadmill I'd be less likely to hurt it again. I'd much rather do the wii fit, but a) that's not really a workout for me and b) it has you move side to side too much for my ankle. It's way more fun though.... |
:wel3fc: Ansynchronous! We're happy you decided to join us. :) I hope your ankle heals quickly, and in the meantime there are some great armchair exercises out there that you may want to check out. Feel free to join in anywhere you feel comfortable with on the boards. We look forward to getting to know you!
