Default Anyone else???

I was watching discovery health channel..... love it LOL But, I have to ask... did anyone else get inspired to battle through weightloss without surgery- after watching "The Shrinking Woman??"

Here's a link to her site..
http://www.conniejackson.net/

I was amazed at what all she went through and have to say I GIVE it up to her and all of her amazing strength... but her medical ordeals after having bypass surgery literally scared the @#*@!!! out of me!!!!!!!

I realize that once you hit a certain weight, the surgery, is absolutely fantastic- but I weigh 340 pounds and have to say... Im SOOO motivated!!!

I know people go through weight loss surgery all the time, as well as the skin removal procedures... but my body hates a new piercing LOL I can't imagine what it would do if I were to have serious surgery on it. *also hated the gall-bladder surgery- stupid stitches*

Am absolutely amazed at her story and wanted to share it- and see if anyone else watched the program.

I watched this programme a few weeks ago and at the end of it my husband turned to my daugher and said, "I think we should be very proud of your Mum for losing all the weight that she has". This is from a man who has never shown support for my weightloss efforts and in fact feels threatened by me losing weight. Although he did not say "to lose all the weight without resorting to surgery", I know that's what he meant. Yes the struggle to lose large amounts of weight is difficult but surely not as difficult as the things the poor lady in the programme had to endure.

KforKitty- That's EXCELLENT- for a man to say that LOL And agreed- I'm much more mentally prepared to sweat it out- I was meant to watch that program, I think.

Congratulations on the 90lbs!!!!!!! That is FREAKIN awesome!! You have got to be proud of yourself!
