I have read with interest about Curves. There are two opening in my area. But what is the cost...and then making it three times a week can be hard when you are driving teenagers all over the place, sport and school activities. Also, what is the long term cost?? After all, I could not believe iceburg lettuce was $2.79 today!! I guess I like to know cost because my job was just cut back in hours. So I have to look at my pocketbook too.

Also, has anyone had any luck with ediets?? Do they give you lots of support and what is the cost there too.

Also, does anyone know where to get free materials from the American Diabetic Association? I know they have a good diet plan to follow. Someone told me years ago its something like WW.

hello dee..ive joined curves have done only 4 visits to far and i enjoy it ...only 30 minutes to do goes by fast........its 29.99 if u have automatic deducted from check book or 39.99 if u pay it yourself....there is 149.00 fee but i got in free by bringing bag of grocerys to give away to the churches so keep an eye out for specials like that where they waive that cost.......and find the time between running around those kids this if for you..i know easier said then done but hey worth a shot.....im doing dietwatch.com on here and i like it.....its 49.99 for the first 3 months then 9.99 after that cheaper than ww its a really good program i think u have to log your dairy daily and your weight once a week and your exercise for the day if any....i know i could do better ive lost 10 pounds but gained back 2 &3/4 found my self slipping the last few days but ive got a daughter getting married in may and ive got to get these pounds off and least get a start for the year.....so ive got to get more serious.....any ways go to wwwdietwatch.com and check it out.......good luck and let me know how things go....sue

I love Curves! All the running around with kids is EXACTLY why I like it...it's quick, I can get a workout in while my son is at baseball practice...or CCD...or at school! The cost here is 39.00/month, (autowithdrawl) but I figured I was paying $48.00 a month to Weight Watchers to lose and gain the same 4 lbs, ONCE A WEEK. This gives me unlimited visits for $9.00 less a month...and it works! I have been a member for less than two weeks, have gone at least 8 times and I definitely feel a difference in my clothes, plus I have lost two pounds!

Like I said...I LOVE CURVES!
