to the July exercise thread! We're making exercise a habit, giving ourselves some accountability, and getting healthier in the process!
In this thread, we track the number of MINUTES we exercise for the month -- whether it's walking or swimming or sweaty housework! Most of us set goals for ourselves (I personally will not exercise much without a goal). If you are a goal-setter, early in the month set your own goal! If you're just getting started, feel free to start with a smaller number of minutes (I did!), maybe just a few hundred. It seems easier for many of us to build on the habit rather than meet a very high goal right away. However, you can also just jump right in without a goal, and you can join us anytime in the month!
And you want to jump in, because one of the main reasons to be here is to track how many minutes we exercise as a group! In 2007, we exercised over 200,000 minutes...
Goal for July is 1100. I've broken 1000 for the past two months. Time to bump it up a notch. These monthly threads have been so inspirational. I started tracking my minutes in March even when I was having technical difficulties with the site. Thanks for this!
30 Elliptical and stair machine = 30 for me

I'm not going to set a goal this month for a couple of reasons. I will log what I've done though. So 60 mins walking from yesterday.
Group total: 145 + 60 = 205
60 minutes from yesterday's yard work (did more than that, but only claiming 60 + 30 minutes from biking today (8 miles) + 699 minutes (group) = 789 minutes
