Hi gals! It's been a while since I've been here last, but now that I'm on a school summer break and working part-time instead of full-time, my schedule is allowing more time to gradually start a healthy eating/exercise program again

I'm 50 years old (51 in Oct), on a summer break from taking pre-reqs for nursing school, and working part-time as a transcriptionist for cardiac/thoracic surgeons. I have alternating mornings and afternoons free, so I'll be starting fun exercise programs at my gym (I haven't been in a year!) and have dusted off my recipe books while collecting new ones on this site.
I'm excited to be back; I have about 75 lbs. to lose (currently at 225), and know I have to take it one day at a time...geez, even one MEAL at a time! I'm a emotional eater, but now with my major stress (school) being out of the way for a while, I'm hoping to have better control of my eating habits and will make a conscious effort to think before I eat!
Wish me luck, ladies. I love to read all the posts here, everyone is so supportive and encouraging!
