Smile Question about what to eat on Diet

Hello-
Are green beans and black-eyed peas ok to eat on the SBD? I'm pretty new to the diet so I wanted to check.

Also, is drinking caffeine tea not good? I know in the book it states to drink de-caf but I was wondering what others have experienced.

Thanks for all the help!

caffeinated drinks can cause cravings.

black eyed peas and green beans are both ok.

There is a list of approved foods in the SBD Frequently Asked Questions subforum at the top of the main South Beach screen.

yep both are fine

green beans are unlimited

BEP are limited to 1/3-1/2 cup serving 2-3 times a day.

you can have the caffeine tea as long as it does not make you hungry in reasonable amounts, I have regular coffee twice a day.
