That sounds like a great challenge! I have really been unfocused and I told myself that May 1st was the day to start again. This ties in perfect thanks!
Btw... At weekends and some week days I don't go to the gym because my gym is at college, but I've a step at home, and I don't how to calculate distances using it

Yay, I'm glad you're in!
I do all my running and walking outside, you could do that instead of at the gym, as an option for your off gym days. Or, let's say you usually run/walk 3 miles in 40 minutes (or whatever), you could count 40 minutes of stepping as 3 miles?

Welcome! The beginning of a new month always makes me feel so optimistic, like I could accomplish anything in this brand new month! It's such a nice feeling isn't it?
I got in 6 miles this morning. We are having unseasonably cool weather here in Florida and it was a joy to be outside. The longer the real heat and humidity holds off, the better. As summer progresses, my runs get earlier and earlier to beat the heat!
I am in for May. I am planning on 3 miles tonight at the gym. I'll report back tomorrow and let ya know how it goes. But i am ready to hit the 50 miles mark this month....maybe even more!!!
So I'm guessing I don't really count my strength training stuff.. and just use high impact cardio as 3 miles for 40 mins like you said earlier? Is that alright?
Just wanted to check-in and see how the new thread is doing before I leave for the gym. Looks like we've got some new challengers this month!
bukirouge, Epica, and fauxtini!!
To all the ladies from the previous thread: Thank You sooooo very much for your support! I CAN NOT believe I ran 78 miles throughout the last challenge! I know without a doubt that I couldn't have done it without all of you!
Gotta run (pun intended) Time for the gym..I'll report back later.

Sure, I'd log however many miles you think you could cover in the 40 minutes (or however many minutes you did cardio)!

Oh thank you so much for your help! That's a great way of doing it, I'll count a mile every 13 minutes then.

Morning gang! TGIF! Is everyone looking forward to a nice weekend?
I've got a cross training on the schedule today so DH and I will go for a bike ride this evening (he has already committed to being home in time to do that before it gets dark). I think I'm also going to sneak in a few miles walking so I'll be able to get in a double workout and log some miles here today!
Morning all!!!! I did go to the gym last night. I got 4 miles in!!!! Yay!!! What a great start to a great month!!! I actually jogged 3 miles and walked one. And boy was i tired last night. I did not want to get out of bed this morning. I fell asleep during my favorite show last night...LOST!!
I am planning to go to the gym tonight too. I might only get 3 miles in tonight...but we'll see. i was only planning on 3 last night and decided to "go the extra mile"....pun intended. hahaha.
