I hit 50 tonight!! I'll take 4th place . Now for my new goal - 10 days left in the month, so I'll go for an extra 25 miles.

sorry for my disappearing act. I decided to let the foot rest completely for a week. It feels better now.

4.5 km walking
10.40 km rowing
that is 9 miles. Not bad for the first day back.

Morning gang!

I've decided to shake things up a bit for myself and swim in the mornings and run at night after it is dark when it is cooler. Because for the last two days I did so much stuff outside (between running and yard work) that I was pretty severely affected by the heat. Not a great feeling.

So this morning I biked over to the rec pool and swam about a mile. Wow, did that cool water feel good. I need to improve my swim fitness anyway, so this is, in theory, a good plan for me plus I'll get lots of double workouts (how can that be a bad thing!?!). I've never liked waiting around to work out at night though, so we'll see if I can make this routine comfortable for me.

Wow...i'm so proud of every one who has already hit 50!! I will be there by the end of the week. With any luck, i'll do 5 tonight and 4 tomorrow and that will put me over my 50. Then i can do some next week for my extras for the month. yay!!

My nigh run went really good, it was such a relief to not have to deal with the extreme heat. I did 6.21 miles and every one of them was fun.

May challenge miles: 68

Wow, you ran a 10k, Josephine! I'm working on a mile...

Just a half mile walk tonight, so 57 total.
