Default WOW its been 6 weeks already!

Lets try this again. When I went to post the first time it did not work and I lost the whole thing I had typed!

Any way, I had my 6 weeks check up today and since surgery I have lost 24lbs (which means since last May 40). This is a 16% of my excess body weight! The Nut said that is what she goes by not the pounds. She said I am right on track for where I should be. I was worried I was losing too slow. I also talked about being more tied and she checked my pre-surgery labs. Since I was on the low side then of Iron, she had me start taking a suppliment now. Said usually they do not start them this early. I do not care as long as it helps me from being exchusted on the road!

The doc said I have no more restrictions and can start back to my Cardio. Since I had Lap and not Open i do not have to worry about hernia's either.

I am actually starting to work my way down one more size in pants!

good job whitelion! you are doing great. i started to take an iron supplement at first, but i saw that my regular vitamin had 100% of my daily intake so i quit. it will see when he does my labs at three months. i go for another fill tomorrow.

Oh you are doing so good!!! The iron!!! Take what you have to to stay healthy. Liver is on sale at the little store here, and you know what your mama can do with liver!!! YUMMM! Good source of iron.

Are you able to workout when you are on the road? I know some of the hotels that we stay in have workout areas. If you got clearance you are doing excellent. What improvements or benefits have you noticed since your weight-loss? Are you able to find enough good things to eat on the road.

I made some peanut butter protein balls yesterday and will be trying them today. If it works out well, they might be something you can take on the road with you. Have Splenda, PB, oats, and protein powder.

I am struggling to find good stuff to eat while on the road. I struggle more with eating often enough. Like today. I had breakfast at 630 am and then it was 1 pm before I got to where I was going and had time to eat. I forgot to pack one of my protien bullets in my purse.

Working out is not a problem. All the hotels I stay in have a workout room. Today I had it rough, I walked on the beach for an hour once I got a nap! Let me know how those protein balls work out. Those would be soo good to have in my backpack when I am out in a warehouse for my snacks!

Default What Sun and warmth

The first day I was here it rainned, was cloudy and windy. They are having record lows! I got 70 today but the wind was sooo cold. Its warmer at home.
